If you leave a number or email here, we use it to text or email you when it’s your turn.

Alongside it we store the moment you signed up (Europe/Berlin), your IP address, a rough location from it (country, region, city), the page you were on, where you came from, and any campaign tags in the link. That is how we know which posts actually bring people here.

When you hit the button we also set one cookie of our own, buddy_vid, so a second signup from the same browser shows up as the same person instead of a stranger. Nothing is set if you just read this page, and there is no analytics, no ad pixel and no third-party tracker anywhere on the site.

• We don’t sell your messages.
• We don’t use them to train models.
• If you ask Buddy to forget something, it is deleted — and you can see that it was.
• Waitlist details are only used to reach you when it’s your turn.
• The list lives in a private spreadsheet on Google Workspace. No one else sees it.

We keep a waitlist entry until you’re in or until we give up on launching — and at most two years. Ask us at any time what we have on you, or to delete it, and it’s gone the same week.
