He asks before it costs money

The useful version of a helper is also the dangerous one. If he can book the table, he can book the wrong table. If he can buy the sneakers, he can buy them twice.

So the rule is dull, and we will not get clever about it. He may look. He may hold. He may tell you the price. He does not pay until you say so in the same thread — a yes you can see later.

That sounds slower. It is. Speed is how people get charged for a “hold” they never agreed to. We’d rather he text “I can get it. I won’t pay until you tap yes.” and wait.

If you tell him to forget a card, a login, a conversation, it goes. Not “hidden from the chat.” Gone. You’ll be able to see that it was.

Trust is not a paragraph on a pricing page. It’s whether he spends your money while you’re in the other room.
